About Danube and the people

In this photo serie I search for the connection between Danube river and the people. I am documenting their stories which are truly authentic and different. Some connections could be characterized as "short-term" and others are lasting for decades. For some Danube river is a place to rest, to take a walk by or to do sports activities. Some people live their lives on old boats, which they take care of for many years. And last but not least, homeless people built their homes around the river and therefore have very specific connection to Danube. In this project I use classic film negative, medium format 6 x 7 cm. I would like to discover and bring more of these stories to show how unique the connections between Bratislava and Danube can be.
