The Blockade

A short documentary about the student protests and blockade of the FDU in Belgrade, Serbia, that happened after the canopy of train station collapsed in Novi Sad, 2024. The film shows life and motivation of students from inside the faculty. How planning, dividing tasks, the protests themselves took place. And all this without any guarantee of a change in the political situation in the future.

I have been involved in visual art since 2020. In 2023, I was accepted to the Documentary Department at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica, where I learned the basics of documentary filmmaking, in 2024 I studied at the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, where I expanded my experience in advertising and feature films. However, observational documentary films are what fulfill me the most.
