The Victory Day

Transnistria is a place suspended in time. More than 30 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it continues to preserve Soviet symbols and narratives as part of its identity. I photographed Victory Day celebrations in Tiraspol, focusing on both official ceremonies and moments that reveal the complex relationship between memory, ideology, and everyday life.
