Slovaks Will Come Alive

The performance “Slovaks Will Come Alive. Anthem for the 21st Century” is an allegorical reflection on the current political and social situation in Slovakia. The theatrical triptych led the audience through three performances. This series captures the third: an audiovisual performance directed by Júlia Rázusová, featuring a prologue titled “Remember Me a Country Without People” by the writer Ivana Gibová. The premiere was held in the wedding hall of Zichy Palace.

Imrich Kútik is an independent photographer. He graduated from the Film and Television Faculty of VŠMU, majoring in animation. He directs animated films and works as a teacher at a secondary art school. Outside of filmmaking, he is dedicated to photographing events, such as mainly protests and marches. In his free time, he takes photos of everyday life and street photography.
