The most beautiful corner in the wide world

This documentary essay holds up a mirror to contemporary Slovak society, highlighting its inability to reflect on language, history, and authoritarianism. We follow a young Ukrainian woman as she visits different locations in an attempt to understand current events. What is fascism? Where are we heading, and how do we break free from this cycle of repetition? The project is still ongoing.

Robo Mihály studied philosophy at Comenius University and is currently a student at the Department of Documentary Film at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He works in film direction and documentary photography. His professional and artistic work focuses on philosophical questions of democracy, social struggles, radicalism, and nationalism.
