Crossing the Rubicon (Testosterone Overload) (from series)

The series of photographs explores the polarity between personal introspection during pregnancy, the joyful anticipation of the offspring where the fragility of creative energy transforming into the archetype of the Mother confronts the acceptance of the fetus's intrusion in body. student, Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava
I'm Alžbeta Kopisová, nurtured on the bread of dear my Alma Mater, FAD STU, Department of Design. During the pandemic, I slaughtered pigs in a Norwegian meat factory, cast a few phalluses and made vases for women that never wither or disappoint. Currently, I'm a proud VŠVU student, nourished by my beloved KFANM. Since January 7th, like grandmothers during the war, I have started nursing and became a mother.
