Modugey at Mbeubeuss

The Mbeubeuss landfill is as large as 115 hectares. The city government fertilizes tons of soil and rubble to cover layer after layer of garbage - that's how the hills on Mbeubeuss form. From one of these hills, I watch Modugey as he walks away with his lunch bowl. On the horizon you can see the buildings of the Dakar suburbs. [November 26, 2023]

Polish photographer based in Warsaw. The focus of my photography is on man and his place in the modern world. I often take up subjects that do not attract media attention, but are particularly consistent with my sensitivity and tender view of the world. Through photographs, I look at the moral condition of people.
