Limits of inclusion

I photograph schools in Bratislava from the education reform in Slovakia in the 60-70s of the 20th century. Space and its relationship to the child began to be more experimentally, critically, and freely differentiated. I confront the schools defined in the past with the current needs of education. I look for principles in them that either offer opportunities for inclusion on a physical and mental level, or place barriers and create boundaries.

freelance photographer
I am a recent graduate of AFAD, Department of Photography and New Media. As an author, I am closest to photography of architecture and urbanism. My latest works deal with the memory of a place, the effect of architecture on a person, or education and upbringing. I complete the spaces with a photographic portrait or a figure. Thematically, I reach into history, which we confront with the present.
