Freelance photographer

I came to live in Bratislava in 1997. I have been photographing the city over the past 15 years. Photography brought me closer to the city and helped me become a part of it. I cover changes in the public space and in the urban structure, and I am interested in Bratislava’s relationship to its own history and architectonic heritage. Bratislava is constantly changing and developing, and it is a permanently open visual stage for me. It is turning into a new city with new city districts, new buildings and a new urban space. What qualities will this new Bratislava have? What will be the impacts of changes in the urban space structures in Bratislava on the economic, social or political development in society? What is the interaction between man and space in Bratislava? My visual study will seek to show the new dynamics of the capital city through architecture and changes in the public space.
