Acceptance as the main theme of childhood and its power. Learning to accept our children as they are. Reclassifying all emotions to make them correct. This is my main purpose as a mother photographer. The media present children through a nice picture: smiling, clean and obedient. The reality is different, though. Children have their own will, their own mind, power and charm. Their bodies are perfect, they believe and know that they can handle anything. They have no fear and are not bound by prejudice. Until the moment we adults intervene and paralyse them with our fear or even paranoia, shaping them through education in our image, the only correct and possible one.
