A magical-realistic essay on a suburb. The pictures of Vanda Mesiarikova reflect the locals’ view of the space in which they live. In a survey conducted in March 2019, they said they would not trade for anything in the world: the colour of their block of flats, their views, greenery or the calm atmosphere of their Drieňová suburb. The photo series of residential landscapes and still lives using a bizarre method of lighting is intended to challenge reality and create a kind of a poetic moment in space and time. The project was part of the Psst! Drieňová festival in Banská Štiavnica.
